Neil Orman is a videographer and documentary filmmaker. He worked as a journalist for 10 years before entering New York University's graduate film program in 2005. While attending NYU he won the Madrid Dares you short film contest, challenging thesis students to make films on the fly about Madrid. You can read about the experience in the New York Daily News. His latest work, a short documentary called "The Power of One," was accepted to screen in November at the Big Apple Film Festival. He now works under contract as a videographer-editor at Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences In Bethesda, MD. You can view Neil's demo reel on Vimeo. A Houston native, Neil earned bachelor degrees in history and journalism at the University of Texas at Austin, as well as a Masters in Business Administration. He lives in the D.C. area with wife Bertha and five year old John Alfonso.
